Beautiful. Delicious. Made with love.
Chocolate was our medium. Flavors inspired by an international melting pot, shaped with humor, poetry, and an appetite for the unexpected.

Twenty years of reciprocal love.
Thank you for twenty years of showing up, tasting, sharing, celebrating, and believing in us. The love went both ways. This extraordinary community sustained The Xocolate Bar through every unlikely turn, and we will always be grateful.

Our Closing Ceremony.
We closed the shop with a ritual in three parts: Burning of the Grievances, Reading of the Love Letters, and Edible Milagros. A final cup of sipping chocolate, a blessing, and a room full of love.

Happy Clients Served with Care. Adventures in Chocolate.
From museums and television studios to unexpected commissions, our imagination traveled far beyond the chocolate shop.
Among the highlights: San Francisco International Chocolate Salon Best in Show (2007) · Good Food Award (2020) · Best New Product for Faux Brie / Chocuterie (2023) · USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice, #7 Best Chocolate Shop in the U.S. (2025). Collaborations and appearances included Pixar Chocolate Fest, KQED, KTVU Channel 2, Telemundo, HBO, and more.

The heart of The Xocolate Bar was the people behind the scenes.
The heart of The Xocolate Bar was the people who made it all happen. We are immensely proud of our final crew and everything they brought to the work.
